The history of Electronic Craftsmen Corporation is a tale of evolution and transformation spanning several decades. Here's are some key milestones in our company's history:

Founding in 1956: Electronic Craftsmen Corporation was founded by Hugh Watt. At its inception, the company likely had a different focus and scale compared to what it would later become.

Change in ownership 1964: In 1964, Fred Sayers along with Geoffry Davis purchased Electronic Craftsmen and moved it to it's currently location on Schaefer Street in Waterloo.

Under the Guidance of Fred Sayers: Fred Sayers served as the guiding force behind the company for over five decades, from its founding until his passing in 2009. Under his leadership, the company went through various phases of growth and adaptation to the changing technology landscape.

Management Buyout in 2009: In 2009, a significant change occurred in the company's ownership and management. Fred Sayers passed away, which prompted the need for a new leadership structure. As a result, a management buyout took place, and with this transition, the company's name was changed to "e-Craftsmen." This renaming signaled a shift in strategy, branding, or direction for the company.

Management Restructuring in 2016: The company underwent another change in management. This shift in leadership brought about a new vision and direction for the company.
